  7. This  -  for sure uncomplete - Polish
  8. scene  report  is  brought  to You by
  9. Cromax of Alchemy.  I decided to sort
  10. all    groups    alphabeticaly,   but
  11. unfortunetly  my  group  is the first
  12. one...   It  is  only  because of the
  13. name...   Oh, there's yet something -
  14. sorry  to  all  PPL, for any errors or
  15. facts   do   not  matching  with  the
  16. truth...  Ok, let's begin!

  18. ¢              ALCHEMY 
  19. ¹
  20. Hmmm...  What can I say?  I will tell
  21. all  the thrut.  Alchemy was found...
  22. about three years ago (I am not quiet
  23. sure  about  it).  Their first relase
  24. was   demo  called  "Toxic  Ziemniak"
  25. (what means "Trujacy Potato").  After
  26. some  time  Alchemy made second - and
  27. till  now  last  one  -  demo, called
  28. "Marchewki" ("Carrots" this time...).
  29. It   tooks  second  place  on  Warsaw
  30. Copy-Party   '92.   Then  I  (Cromax)
  31. joined  Alchemy.   Time  passed,  and
  32. nothing  was  relased.   Some  months
  33. ago,  we  start to issue zine, called
  34. "Zasmashka".  It is all Polish, so it
  35. isn't  so  popular  (or  rather  it's
  36. unknown)  for  other  countries.  Now
  37. we're  working  at  second  issue  of
  38. "Zasmashka"...

  40. ³Some  known members:  Axel, Backfire,
  41. Bob,     Cromax,    Exolon,    Frodo,
  42. Saggitarius , Tiptop and Vico
  43. ¶¢              APPLAUSE

  45. Story  of  this group is a little bit
  46. complicated.    First   -   some   of
  47. Applause's members were in Grace PL -
  48. Polish  division  of  Grace  (but  it
  49. died)  and some in other group called
  50. "Future  Revolution".   I  don't know
  51. exists  FR  anymore,  but  I  haven't
  52. heard  about  them  for  a  very long
  53. time.   FR  was  issuing  zine  "Next
  54. Life"  - cool and full of humour mag.
  55. When  FR  died  (?) some guys from FR
  56. and   Grace  PL  found  new  group  -
  57. Applause   namely.   They  made  some
  58. intros,  but more important thing is,
  59. that they have organized party in may
  60. (probably; I have weak memory).  Some
  61. guys  claims, that this party was bad
  62. organized,  some  don't.  I can't say
  63. anything  about  it, because I wasn't
  64. present   there...   Now  they  start
  65. issuing  another  zine "Thing".  It's
  66. also  in English language, so You can
  67. get it too!

  75. It  is  (or  was)  quiet  big  group.
  76. Their  "Deformations"  - first demo -
  77. tooks  first  place on Warsaw CP '92.
  78. Another their products are:  "Weekend
  79. Dance",   "Deform   Megamix",  "Music
  80. Disk",  "Slide Show".  Deform came to
  81. life  by fusion of some small groups:
  82. Hell Order Team, Zack Team, aaaand...
  83. ¶some other groups...  Oh, it is worth
  84. to   add,  that  H.O.T.   made  first
  85. "Power   of   inspiration"  and  than
  86. joined with other groups.

  93. I  exactly  know  this group from two
  94. productions  -  one with famous "Anti
  95. Atari  Song"  and  from another sound
  96. disk  - "Masturbation".  I don't know
  97. anything  else  about  them,  I don't
  98. even knoe exesit they at all...

  102. A  new  group  founded about one year
  103. ago  (?).  Some demos (sorry, I don't
  104. know  names)  and  sound disk - "Hunt
  105. for  the  red  kret" (mole).  Nothing
  106. about members or past...

  110. It  is one from older group in Poland
  111. (before  I  joined  Alchemy, I was in
  112. Investation).   First thing they made
  113. was  zine - "Fat Agnus".  Now there's
  114. 14  issues  and  everyting says, they
  115. will  continue their work.  They made
  116. some  intros,  file  demos  ("Optical
  117. Race  1, 2", "Ingis") and - of course
  118. -  demos ("Hydra" and something about
  119. "Heaven",  but I don't know what...).

  122. Dr.D, M-Iron, Tap and Ziemniak

  125. Legendary   group...   Demos:   Lucky
  126. Luck  (it  was  probably  their first
  127. demo...   but  I still have it!), The
  128. Return,  Party-zanci,  Art  Disk  and
  129. many sound disks.

  132. Kadi, Peters, Rafii and Rys).

  136. I    don't   know   have   they   any
  137. productions, but I am in contact with
  138. it's  member  - Macias .  Probably LA
  139. and  Alchemy  will  organize  a  VeRy
  140. StraNgE and unnormal party in may '94
  141. (in  Poland).   Look  for  invitation
  142. intro - comming soon!

  145. Luzers  but  no  loosers.  Some wired
  146. guys.  They are issuing - sometimes -
  147. different   zines.    First   it  was
  148. "Alamakota", then "Lamataoka" and now
  149. "Paper  White".  I herad some rumors,
  150. that  they  quit  issuing Paper White
  151. and  start  to  issue  new mag.  They
  152. also  made  some  demos - "Defene cos
  153. tam".

  156. and Pavelo

  160. Quite  new  group,  but very popular.
  161. Their  "Technological  Dead" is known
  162. all  around  thw  world.  Lately they
  163. ¶organized  "Polish Autumn Party", but
  164. -  in  my  opinion  - it was very bad
  165. organized.

  171. Pretty  active  group.   Many demos -
  172. "Damage",     "Impulse",    "Xenium",
  173. "Fugazi",  "Autobiography" also sound
  174. disks - "Sigh", "Orgasm", "Illusion".
  175. So,  I can not say, that "quantity is
  176. over   quality".    All   productions
  177. (maybe  exept "Xenium") are good, its
  178. has  interesting  design.   Old Bulls
  179. contains two divisions - TILT and Gel
  180. Dezign.   Actually  member list (from
  181. Amigowiec   5-6/93):   Aiwen,  Arcus,
  182. Bycek, Blind, Brunner, G.B., Ghengis,
  183. Ghost,   Mikie,   Processor,   Sator,
  184. Shean,  The  Bill,  The  Generat, The
  185. Spy,   Venom,  Vindemiatrix,  Walker,
  186. from  TILT:   Bukka,  Hudi,  Sabe and
  187. from Gel:  Accord and Zefir.

  191. Strange  group.  PSL consists only of
  192. musician.   The  make music for other
  193. groups.  Some members:  Cloo, Scorpik

  197. Well  known group, but I can not say,
  198. their   produtions   belongs  to  the
  199. bests...    They  have  relased  some
  200. demos  -  "Immortal visions" won demo
  201. competition on Mountain Beer Party in
  202. Zywiec     '92.      Other     demos:
  203. ¶"Alternative Reality", "Music Tracks"
  204. (sound   disk),   "Varathron".   Main
  205. organizer  of  Suspect - Kalosz other
  206. members:  Kane , BFA andfor sure some
  207. other guys...

  211. I have heard, that this group already
  212. died.   Some  guys  of  Union  joined
  213. Mystic.   Union was founded by fusion
  214. some   guys  from  different  groups:
  215. from  Action Direct, Deform, G-Force,
  216. legendary Katharsis and from Suspect.
  217. I  don't  know exist Union anymore...
  218. They  are  (were?)  issuing two mags:
  219. "Zig  Zag"  and  "Poczytaj  mi  mamo"
  220. (something  like  "Read  to me mum").
  221. Theres  another mag "Poland B", but I
  222. don't  know  which  group  issue  it.
  223. Probably  Union  too,  but  I  am not
  224. quiet sure...

  228. Also  one  from  older  formations in
  229. Poland.     W.F.M.H.    means   World
  230. Federation of Mad Hackers.  Some cool
  231. demos:      "Faster    than    Hell",
  232. "Software".

  236. formations in Poland, but they are to
  237. unknown  (for  me)  or  I  forgot  to
  238. mention  someone or some groups don't
  239. exists   at   presence...   Sorry  to
  240. everybody,  who  has been missed or I
  241. wrote something wrong about him...  I
  242. do my best.
